You can refund Zip Canada orders exactly as you would any other order, which is done directly through your eCommerce platform.
Once you've initiated the refund on your eCommerce platform, Zip Canada is automatically notified via our API and adjusts the customer's payment plan accordingly. There is no further action needed on your end.
If a customer is halfway through their payment cycle (i.e. paid their first two payments and have two payments remaining), we will refund what they already paid and cancel their upcoming payments.
Since we paid you the full amount of the purchase the following business day, we will take the refund amount out of your next payout. For more information on how Zip Canada treats full and partial refunds, please reference this help centre article.

Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw our product in Canada to focus on continued sustainable growth in our core markets of the US, Australia and New Zealand.
In line with our standard terms and conditions, we will continue to accept and process refunds up until May 4, 2024. From this date, you will need to refund the customer directly.
